Cookie policy
Reviewed 22 September 2026. This page explains the small browser files used by Zafara Insights at 346, Hyoryeong-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, 06775. Cookies help remember a choice and support basic site operation. They are not used to request wallet credentials or payment data.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small value stored by a browser for a defined period. It can be first-party or supplied by a service supporting the site. A cookie does not automatically identify a person by name. Browser settings can restrict or delete cookies.
2. Essential session cookie
A session cookie may support navigation or security during one visit. It normally expires when the browser closes. It contains no editorial profile. Blocking it may affect ordinary site behavior.
3. Preference cookie
The cookieChoice value records whether a reader selected Accept or Reject in the banner. It is retained for 180 days. It prevents the banner from appearing on every page. The reader can clear it in browser settings.
4. Analytics
If optional analytics are enabled in a future release, identifiers will be disclosed here before use. A typical analytics identifier may last up to 13 months. We prefer aggregated reports over individual profiles. Optional measurement is not required to read articles.
5. Consent
Consent is requested through the visible banner. Rejecting optional cookies does not block editorial content. A browser deletion does not necessarily communicate a new choice to the site. We will respect the latest recorded preference.
6. Third parties
Embedded or linked services may set their own cookies when opened. Their names, purposes and lifespans are controlled by their notices. Zafara does not sell cookie data. We review embeds before publication.
7. Device controls
Most browsers provide controls for blocking, deleting and reviewing cookies. Private browsing can limit retention but is not a complete anonymity tool. Device settings differ by manufacturer. Contact us if the banner behaves unexpectedly.
8. Data security
Cookie values are limited in purpose and access. We use ordinary transport and platform safeguards for the site. No system can be described as risk-free. We investigate credible security reports responsibly.
9. Questions
Questions may be sent to +82-2-7143-6987 or mailed to 346, Hyoryeong-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, 06775. Include the browser and page involved, but do not send passwords. We aim to explain the result clearly. Privacy rights remain available.
10. Revision log
This version was published on 22 September 2026. Any material change will receive a new date and summary. Previous versions may be requested. The policy is reviewed at least annually.
Cookie inventory and lifespan
The session cookie is generally a temporary first-party value used during a visit and is removed when the browser session ends. The cookieChoice preference may remain for 180 days and records only the reader's selection. If analytics are enabled, a first-party measurement identifier may have a lifespan of up to 13 months, while event data is retained for up to 14 months before aggregation or deletion. Exact names and purposes will be listed here before a new optional technology is activated.
Cookies do not give Zafara access to files on a device, wallet credentials or payment details. Local browser storage, pixels and similar technologies are treated with the same care when they perform a cookie-like function. A reader can inspect, block or remove these values through browser controls, although some preferences may need to be selected again.
Choice, vendors and transfers
Optional measurement is not required to read articles. A rejection is respected for the recorded browser and can be changed by clearing the preference or contacting Zafara. A third-party embedded service may set its own values only when that service is opened; its own notice controls the name and lifespan.
Hosting, security and measurement providers may process technical information outside Korea. Zafara reviews the purpose of each provider, limits access and considers applicable transfer safeguards. We do not sell cookie data or use it to build a profile of wallet ownership or financial capacity.
Review record
This policy was reviewed on 22 September 2026. Material changes to cookie categories, providers or retention periods will be reflected with a new review date and described in the page revision record. Questions may be sent to 346, Hyoryeong-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, 06775, or +82-2-7143-6987.
The temporary session cookie is a first-party value used only while a reader navigates a visit. It normally expires when the browser closes, although a browser may restore a session after a crash according to its own settings. The cookieChoice preference may remain for 180 days and stores the reader's selection rather than the contents of an article. If optional measurement is activated, an analytics identifier may remain for up to 13 months and event data may be retained for up to 14 months before deletion or aggregation.
Cookie names, purposes and lifespans are reviewed when a new script or embedded service is introduced. A service may use a security token, a preference value or a measurement identifier, but those categories are not treated as interchangeable. Zafara does not use cookies to request wallet keys, passwords, payment data or a person's asset balance. Clearing cookies may require the banner choice to be made again.
Optional measurement is not necessary to read editorial content. A reader can reject it through the banner, block third-party cookies in the browser or contact Zafara at 346, Hyoryeong-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, 06775. We aim to acknowledge a privacy or cookie request within seven business days and provide a substantive response within 30 days.
Embedded video, document or analytics services may set their own values only when the service is opened or enabled. Their notices explain whether data leaves Korea, which processors are involved and how deletion works. Zafara reviews an embed's purpose before publication and avoids placing optional measurement on a page where it is not needed. We do not sell cookie data or use it to build a profile of financial capacity.
This policy was reviewed on 22 September 2026. Changes to essential cookies, consent controls, optional measurement, third parties or retention periods will be described with a new review date. A reader who believes a preference was not respected may call +82-2-7143-6987 and should include the page address and approximate time without sending sensitive credentials.
